Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Steadfast Support Clinic, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to the needs of your assigned clients.

• Performing thorough assessments and counseling for children and families to meet DSM V diagnostic criteria, ensuring medical necessity for service provision.

• Developing and facilitating psychoeducational groups and classes, including parenting courses, to equip clients with essential coping skills and knowledge.

• Completing and maintaining accurate clinical documentation, including case materials and statistical data, in compliance with regulatory and funding requirements.

• Meeting billing and service delivery quotas by tracking reimbursable hours diligently and submitting necessary documentation in a timely manner.

The focus of this role encompasses a diverse array of clients, including children, families, and community members in need of mental health services. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Strong organizational skills, enabling effective management of caseloads and client documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with a minimum of two years of direct practice in mental health counseling are preferred. Experience serving children and families, particularly in a telehealth format, will be a strong asset. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems or teleconferencing tools will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
