VP, Analytics (Contract)

Havas Media North America is seeking a VP to lead the Analytics Team. As part of our global community of 10,000 team members, we are dedicated to using Meaningful Media to create meaningful differences for brands, businesses, and people.

The VP of Analytics will lead, develop, and manage all aspects of Client Analytics, back-office analytics, and decision modeling. This includes report design, data capture development, and implementation processes. The VP will work with a variety of data sources to continuously evolve the metrics used to measure the effectiveness and ROI of activities across all campaign types.

This role requires significant CPG experience and will act as the client’s primary strategic advisor for analytics. The VP will not only translate complex data into actionable insights but also provide strategic recommendations and guidance on measurement frameworks, campaign optimization, and business strategy. They will partner closely with the client to ensure analytics drives decision-making and demonstrates clear impact across all initiatives.

A DAY IN THE LIFE MIGHT LOOK LIKE:

• Assisting in business development and growth by collaborating with partners and clients to develop and implement new analytical methodologies aimed at increasing revenue.
• Providing marketing performance analysis for client engagements by understanding client business goals and designing tailored analytic approaches.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop client tools and services, such as modeling, dashboard development, decision aids, and business case analysis, to support programs and creative solutions.
• Working closely with the team to provide specific and actionable recommendations for clients and securing additional client engagements.
• Creating team structures and resource allocation plans to optimize analytics capabilities.
• Managing all logistics and operational aspects of the analytics function.
• Partnering seamlessly across the enterprise to access information and drive strategies and implementation.
• Determining and implementing operational procedures and leading the analytics group in project and resource management.
• Cultivating strong relationships with staff, internal partners, and clients.
• Advocating for changes that align with the vision of the department and organization.
• Participating in new business pitches and representing analytics in these discussions.
• Promoting process and organizational efficiency through automation.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED/SKILLS:

• 9+ years of experience in marketing analytics or business intelligence, with a focus on analytics.
• Strongly preferred experience at a Media/Advertising agency.
• Proven experience leading a team of 5 or more.
• Extensive experience in the digital space.
• Ability to lead data workstreams and represent analytics in new business pitches.
• Experience providing company-wide points of view and training on emerging technologies and new analytics methodologies.
• Act as the primary analytics point of contact for clients, with a deep understanding of data management principles and advanced analytics techniques, including statistical modeling, audience cluster segmentation, and lifetime value analysis.
• Capable of contributing expertise and leading efforts in advanced analytics and consumer research.
• Track record of implementing operational excellence across multiple analytics functions.
