Location: Rochester, NY

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Certified OR Tech to join a multi-specialty Surgical Services department. The ideal candidate will possess extensive operating room experience across a variety of surgical specialties and be proficient in maintaining sterile technique while supporting complex surgical procedures.

Requirements:

CST Certification required
Minimum 3 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience preferred
Epic experience preferred
First-time travelers not accepted

Schedule:

Either 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM or 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Flexibility to work either shift based on department needs
On-call required
Weekend and holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms and surgical instrumentation
Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures
Anticipate surgeon needs and provide intraoperative support
Assist with robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgical procedures
Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Collaborate with the perioperative team to optimize patient outcomes
