Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in labor and delivery and postpartum units.
• Assist in C-section procedures ensuring optimal patient safety and outcomes.
• Administer and monitor IVs, collaborating as necessary with VAT for backup.
• Manage and stabilize neonates for transport to tertiary care when required.
• Document patient care using EPIC electronic health record system.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Labor & Delivery and PostPartum care.
• Current certifications in BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Intermediate preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Skilled in starting IVs and providing circulating support during C-sections.
• Able to work every other weekend as part of the care team schedule.
• Willingness to float between similar units as needed.
