Resinwerks is a rapidly growing manufacturer of high-performance resinous flooring systems serving commercial, industrial, healthcare, food & beverage, aviation, and institutional markets across North America. As our company continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team at our Fremont, Indiana headquarters.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who is looking to grow with a dynamic organization and take a leading role in the day-to-day management and organization of our accounting operations.

Position Summary:

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for supporting and helping oversee daily accounting functions, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable activities, and general administrative accounting tasks. This individual will work closely with leadership and operations teams to help ensure accuracy, efficiency, and strong financial organization throughout the company.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

This position offers a flexible remote work schedule, with the ability to work remotely for up to 50% as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process invoices, vendor payments, customer payments, and reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Prepare and analyze reports related to sales, expenses, inventory, and operational costs
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding purchase orders, inventory, freight, and customer billing
• Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collections efforts
• Assist leadership with financial analysis and reporting requests
• Help improve accounting procedures and operational efficiencies
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting best practices
• Support payroll coordination and other administrative accounting functions as needed

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration experience preferred
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred (NetSuite experience is a plus)
• Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
