Part-Time School Physical Therapist Position
Part-time school physical therapist position for a 36-week assignment in or near Henderson, Nevada. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in student health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver school-based physical therapy services to students with varied needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy interventions as needed
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes
- Document all treatments and maintain accurate records in the EMR system
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution or equivalent
- Current State Physical Therapist license
- CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Physical Therapist in a school setting or similar environment
- Strong understanding of school-based therapy and student needs
- Ability to work part-time days
- Excellent communication and soft skills
- Background checks
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to adhere to school policies and procedures
