As a vital member of our rehabilitation center, you will be responsible for optimizing patient recovery through tailored treatment plans and hands-on care.

Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center offers a dynamic onsite work environment where collaboration and innovation are at the forefront of our practice. You will work alongside experienced orthopedic physicians and dedicated medical staff, engaging in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. With flexible part-time hours available Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 7:30 PM, you can balance your professional responsibilities while making a meaningful impact on patient lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with various orthopedic conditions, sports-related injuries, and those recovering from surgical procedures.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to address specific patient needs and goals.
• Educate patients about proper movement mechanics, revitalizing them through personalized home exercise programs, and techniques for preventing further injuries.
• Maintain meticulous patient records within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring clear and comprehensive documentation of treatment processes and outcomes.
• Foster strong communication lines with orthopedic physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate robust patient care and ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Stay informed about the latest best practices and advancements in orthopedic physical therapy, integrating new techniques into your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients dealing with sports medicine issues, post-surgical challenges, and chronic orthopedic conditions. Our patient population includes athletes looking to expedite their recovery and individuals pursuing improved mobility after injury or surgery. Your personalized approach to treatment will directly influence their recovery process and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license to practice in the state of Nevada.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients and team members.
• The ability to develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and progress.
• A genuine passion for helping patients achieve meaningful recovery and improved health outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years' experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience with electronic documentation systems, particularly EMR.
• Background in advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise methods.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation structure is competitive, offering an annual salary range of $90,000 – $100,000 commensurate with experience.
