Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Position: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Location: Melville, NY Company/Industry: Well-established precision manufacturer Schedule: Mon-Fri On-Site Only Salary: $90,000 - $110,000/yr, depending on experience (flexible for the right candidate) + benefits Type: Direct Hire Key Responsibilities:Lead shop-floor quality engagement, QRQC problem-solving, and MRB/NCR disposition.Author and manage Control Plans, PFMEAs, FAI (AS9102), and PPAP packages.Program and qualify metrology systems (CMM, OGP/Keyence) and execute MSA/Gage R&R studies.Implement SPC on CTQ features to maintain robust process capabilities (Cpk ? 1.33).Maintain audit-ready QMS posture (AS9100, ISO 13485, FDA/Medical standards).Qualifications:B.S. in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).5+ years in a precision CNC machining environment with tight tolerances (0.0002 in / 5 µm).Strong expertise in regulated industries (Medical, Aerospace, or Defense).Fluent in GD&T per ASME Y14.5, statistical software (Minitab), and 8D/CAPA methodologies.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $90,000.00 - $110,000.00Job SummaryJob number: 586231Profession: Other
