Asset Strategy Leader, R&D Aesthetics

AbbVie seeks an experienced asset strategy leader to oversee R&D aesthetics products from discovery through end-of-life. The role requires matrix leadership across multiple functions, comprehensive asset strategy development, and governance oversight for one or more assets throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Chair the Asset Strategy Team and serve as primary contact for pipeline governance and senior management
• Develop and execute integrated global asset and brand strategies aligned with company objectives
• Establish go/no-go decision points and present data-driven recommendations to leadership
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on regulatory, evidence, and commercialization plans
• Monitor competitive landscape and assess impact on ongoing development programs

Requirements

• Broad exposure to drug development activities including discovery, regulatory, commercial, and operations
• Substantial cross-functional leadership experience across multiple therapeutic and business areas
• Enterprise-level strategic thinking with ability to influence across organizational levels
• Deep understanding of asset lifecycle management, from development through commercialization
• Strong executive presence and communication skills with senior management and external stakeholders
• Experience with governance models and portfolio prioritization in pharmaceutical organizations
