Overview

We are seeking a creative and trend-savvy Social Media Content Specialist to grow brand awareness, engagement, and community presence across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. This role will be responsible for executing day-to-day social media activities, managing content calendars, creating engaging short-form content, and identifying emerging trends that strengthen TP-Link's connection with consumers.

The ideal candidate combines strong content creation skills with a data-driven approach to social media marketing. They will develop and publish compelling social content, collaborate with creative teams and influencers, and capitalize on real-time trends to maximize reach and engagement. Success in this role requires hands-on experience producing short-form video content, deep knowledge of social platform best practices, and the ability to balance creative storytelling with measurable business results.

Responsibilities

1. Channel & Calendar Management


Execute Daily Publishing: Plan, schedule, and publish daily content across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts, ensuring every channel remains active, on-brand, and consistently scheduled.


Content Calendar Strategy: Build and maintain an integrated social content calendar aligned with product launches, promotional campaigns, seasonal moments, and trending topics.


2. Content Creation & Production


Agile Content Creation: Shoot and edit native short-form video (Reels, Shorts) and photo content independently when quick turnaround or real-time trend capitalization is needed.


Creative Briefing & Asset Coordination: Draft clear creative briefs and collaborate with internal graphic designers, video editors, and copywriters to produce high-quality brand assets.


Budget & Production Management: Manage micro-budgets for creative production, freelance resources, or sponsored post boosts as required.


3. Trend Discovery & Creator Activation


Trend Spotting: Continuously monitor viral audio, formats, memes, and emerging social trends, pitching actionable ideas with a clear hypothesis on why they will perform.


Influencer & Creator Engagement: Identify relevant tech creators, reviewers, and lifestyle influencers worth activating for content collaborations, product seeding, or co-branded campaigns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ Year of hands-on experience managing brand social media channels (consumer electronics, hardware, or DTC e-commerce background strongly preferred).
• Production Skills: Proven ability to shoot, edit, and produce short-form video content using mobile editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Rush, or native platform editors).
• Platform Mastery: Deep understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook formats, algorithms, and performance analytics.
• Creative & Analytical Mindset: Ability to balance aesthetic storytelling with data-driven decision-making to optimize reach, impressions, and engagement rate"
