A healthcare facility in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an experienced pharmacist to manage inpatient pharmacy services on a travel assignment lasting 13 weeks. This opportunity offers pharmacists the chance to apply their skills in a dynamic hospital environment using EPIC electronic medical records.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately to inpatients according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to review medication therapy and optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor drug therapies for safety, efficacy, and adverse reactions in inpatient settings.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, pharmacy laws, and safety protocols.
• Use EPIC EMR to document medication orders, interventions, and patient information.
• Provide education to medical staff and patients regarding medication use.

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of inpatient pharmacy experience required.
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records preferred.
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows.

Schedule:

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
