Candidate must work a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days on site per week; Tuesday and Wednesday are mandatory on-site, Monday or Thursday option for the third on-site day. Duration 12+ months Schedule 9/80 (every other Friday off) Conditions No C2C, no side agency/vendors, no 1099. US citizenship required. Description Research, plan, analyze, design, and develop mechanical products such as ammunition handling systems, structures, gun systems, missile launchers, mechanisms, and other devices. Perform technical analysis, testing, and evaluation of moderately complex engineering problems using specialized equipment and computer programs. Analyze and interpret design specifications, drawings, documents, models, and test results to ensure technical designs comply with applicable engineering standards, military specifications, and product requirements. Develop and write technical documentation, revise existing documentation, and provide input to technical papers or presentations. May deliver technical presentations related to production support activities. Create and maintain product parts, assemblies, and drawings using PTC Creo Parametric 11 modeling software. Perform complex engineering design, development, analysis, experimentation, test, and product assurance tasks of limited complexity for a range of engineering design and analytical theory, principles, techniques, and practices. Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers. Acquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant engineering disciplines, industry practices, trends, and applications. Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety policies and rules. Provide input to project leaders for the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets. Skills Required Working knowledge of creating moderately complex solid models and mechanical designs using CAD systems, preferably PTC Pro‑E or Creo. Ability to solve moderately complex technical design and development problems that require a professional level of engineering knowledge. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Experience working with internal or external shops to manufacture designs. Skills Preferred Familiarity with relevant military and commercial design standards. Familiarity with current computer applications and technologies in applicable engineering disciplines. Experience in military product production environment. Experience in developing precision assembly tooling. Experience Required Minimum 4 years work experience in a relevant work environment. Experience Preferred Good working knowledge of GD&T principles (ASME Y14.5‑2009 or –2018). Good working knowledge of Tolerance Stack Analysis. 2+ years experience with Creo modeling and drawing generation. Experience with EPOM system preferably Windchill. Education Required Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Education requirements: Bachelor of Science in a relevant technical discipline (typically mechanical or aerospace engineering) plus 4 years relevant experience or an M.S. degree and 2 years experience.
