Description

• Assess individuals across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing a mix of standardized measures and observational assessments.
• Create tailored treatment strategies that cater to immediate objectives and long-range communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focusing on communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capability.
• Work synergistically with physical therapists, nurses, caregivers, and family members to design comprehensive care approaches.
• Provide supportive education for patients and families to promote progression outside of therapy sessions.
• Contribute to occasional inpatient evaluations and therapeutic interventions, ensuring consistent care throughout the recovery experience.
• Ensure precise documentation consistent with organizational, state, and federal standards.
• Remain at the forefront of the field through ongoing professional development and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if certifications are pending.

Certifications

• Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within 30 days of hire.
