Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing standard assessments and meticulous observational methods.
• Craft individualized treatment plans targeting both immediate and long-run goals for communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver engaging one-on-one speech therapy sessions that concentrate on aspects such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to develop unified care approaches.
• Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families to support ongoing progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Occasionally perform inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless care throughout the treatment process.
• Uphold accurate and timely documentation compliant with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Engage in continuous professional development through education and collaborative discussions with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first month of employment.
