Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients through standardized assessments and keen observations.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to meet both immediate and long-term communicative and swallowing needs.
• Engage in dedicated one-on-one speech therapy sessions that emphasize language, fluency, swallowing, and voice.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and families, to devise holistic care plans.
• Provide informative education for patients and their families to encourage continuous progress beyond our clinical environment.
• Contribute to inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatments as needed, ensuring seamless patient care along their recovery journey.
• Maintain impeccable and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field through ongoing education and peer collaboration.

Education

• Earned Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within first 30 days of employment.
