Nurse Practitioner

Location: Wakefield, MA Clinic: The Meadow Wellness Center The Meadow Wellness Center is a fast-paced, patient-centered clinic offering primary care and occupational medicine services in Wakefield, MA. We are known for our efficient service, compassionate care, and dedicated support staff. Whenever our clinic doors are open, our schedule fills quickly. We are now seeking a DOT-certified Nurse Practitioner to join our occupational health team. This position is ideal for a skilled NP looking for flexible hours with high-volume patient flow and the opportunity to transition into a more permanent role as demand continues to grow. You’ll be responsible for: Performing DOT physicals and medical exams Conducting pre-employment physicals and military clearances Completing visit documentation promptly and accurately Collaborating with a supportive team (MA and front desk available on-site) Starting per diem — 4- to 8-hour shifts available based on patient volume Option to grow into regular weekly shifts or full-time as demand increases Flexibility around your availability; no on-call or weekends required High-volume support with exam room efficiency Minimal administrative burden; visits scheduled and prepared for you No overnight call, hospital duties, or extensive charting load DOT Certification required (or willingness to obtain immediately) Active NP license in Massachusetts Experience in occupational medicine preferred, but not required Confident, efficient, and excellent bedside manner Ability to manage a steady flow of quick visits (average 10–15 min per visit) Why Join Us?
