Child Nutrition Assistant

Child Nutrition Assistant 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM 3 hours/10 months Site to be determined Acceptance of this position must not put employee in overtime i.e., more than five and three quarter (5.75) hours a day.

1. Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities for the position.

2. Possession of a valid CPR, First Aid, Food Handler's certificates.

3. Possession of a valid California Driver's License.

4. Ability to assist in quantity preparation and serving of foods at an assigned school site.

5. Maintain food service facilities, equipment and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition.

6. Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

7. Follow health and sanitation requirements.

8. Wash, cut, slice, grate and assemble food items.

9. Monitor designated areas on an assigned school campus in accordance with organizational and school policy.
