This unique opportunity combines outpatient psychiatric care with integrated addiction medicine services, allowing you to make a lasting impact on individuals receiving treatment for both mental health and substance use disorders.The ideal candidate is comfortable providing psychiatric medication management while supporting medical care for patients in detoxification and recovery programs. This role offers a combination of in-person clinical work at partner treatment facilities and flexible remote work for outpatient services.Position OverviewAs a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for adult patients in outpatient behavioral health settings while supporting psychiatric and medical services across multiple levels of addiction treatment, including:DetoxificationResidential TreatmentPartial Hospitalization Program (PHP)Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)This position includes a blend of in-person care at partner facilities and remote telehealth opportunities, with flexibility to complete virtual appointments during morning or afternoon clinic sessions.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.Provide medication management and follow-up care for outpatient behavioral health patients.Perform medical and psychiatric evaluations for patients in detoxification and addiction treatment programs.Support psychiatric and medical care across detox, residential, PHP, and IOP treatment settings.Collaborate with therapists, case managers, nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated.Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic health record.Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and organizational regulations and clinical standards.Participate in an after-hours call rotation (paid per night).QualificationsActive, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Tennessee.Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification strongly preferred.Active Tennessee DEA registration with prescriptive authority required.Experience in outpatient psychiatry, addiction medicine, behavioral health, or substance use disorder treatment.Comfortable providing medical evaluations and care for patients in detoxification settings.Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.Willingness to obtain additional licensure in Georgia and Florida.Schedule & Work EnvironmentFull-time positionHybrid work model with a mix of:In-person visits at partner detox and residential treatment facilitiesRemote outpatient psychiatric appointmentsFlexible scheduling with opportunities for telehealth sessionsPaid after-hours call rotation #J-18808-Ljbffr
