We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Sales Manager to lead our wholesale sales organization, manage key accounts, and take ownership of the day-to-day health of our sales operation. This is a high-impact leadership position reporting directly to ownership and responsible for driving revenue growth across traditional wholesale channels and emerging digital platforms.
This is a true player-coach role — you'll lead the team while maintaining your own portfolio of strategic accounts and helping shape the future of our sales organization.

What You'll Be Responsible For
Sales Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop inside and outside sales representatives
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews
- Establish growth targets and accountability standards
- Recruit, onboard, and develop top-performing sales talent
- Create and maintain sales playbooks, scripts, and training materials
Account & Revenue Growth
- Personally manage approximately 10 strategic wholesale accounts
- Develop annual account growth plans
- Identify new revenue opportunities and customer expansion initiatives
- Strengthen relationships with key customers and industry partners
Pipeline & Sales Operations Management
- Own quote management and pipeline discipline
- Ensure aging quotes and orders receive timely follow-up
- Improve conversion rates and sales efficiency
- Maintain CRM accuracy and reporting standards
- Partner with accounting, purchasing, and operations teams
Ecommerce & Digital Growth
- Support growth across Amazon, Walmart, Faire, Wayfair, Etsy, and eBay
- Drive customer adoption of a new B2B ecommerce portal
- Collaborate on pricing, promotions, and marketplace strategy
- Help bridge traditional wholesale selling with modern digital commerce
Trade Shows & Customer Engagement
- Lead trade show planning and execution
- Coordinate booth staffing and customer outreach
- Drive catalog and seasonal sales initiatives
- Support showroom sales and customer visits at our Commerce headquarters
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
✔ 5+ years of B2B wholesale sales experience
✔ 2+ years leading sales teams
✔ Proven track record of revenue growth and quota attainment
✔ Experience managing inside and outside sales representatives
✔ Strong understanding of CRM and ERP systems
✔ Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills
✔ Ability to analyze customer revenue data and identify growth opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
⭐ Experience in wholesale distribution, party supplies, gifts, seasonal products, crafts, event décor, or related industries
⭐ Trade show experience (ASD Market Week, NY NOW, or similar)
⭐ Familiarity with Magento, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, or Faire
⭐ Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
⭐ Experience with SalesPad, Microsoft GP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems
