A Field Service Engineer contributes to the success of Hartwig by keeping our customers' CNC machine tools running at peak operating levels by performing repairs. The customers we serve are in a variety of industries and rely on our team to repair, inspect and troubleshoot their equipment. Position will be open for 45 days from original posting. Ideal candidate will live in the Denver, CO area. Main responsibilities of this full-time role based in Denver, CO include:Conducts high quality, efficient and timely repair and installation of CNC machinesRecommend modifications and improvements to CNC machines, equipment and processesTrains and instructs customers on service, repair and proper installationUses software and electrical tools to find damaged work parts and identifies permanent solutions to repair CNC machines and accessoriesAbility to complete necessary tasks in our service software and timecard system on a daily basisTraveling to customer sites, usually within 3 hours from home, with occasional overnight travelThe SkillsIndividuals who ideally fit this role should meet the following qualifications:Formal education or training in troubleshooting, repair and installation of CNC Machines preferred4 years of demonstrated mechanical and electrical experience preferredExperience repairing CNC machines preferredAbility to work independently, a go getter that finds the next customer that needs our help Good driving record and valid driver's license to ensure fleet vehicle insurabilityThe Organization and Our BenefitsOur team of over 200 professionals throughout the U.S. is dedicated to helping customers control and power the growth of their business.
