Schedule: Every other weekend required; scheduling based on department needs; no block scheduling available

Highlights:

• 101-bed Emergency Department in a Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
• High-volume emergency department serving over 100,000 visits annually
• Patient ratios typically 4:1 for medical patients; up to 7:1 for behavioral health holds
• Documentation via Cerner EMR; GE monitors and Baxter pumps in use
• Internal floating within Emergency Department sections only; no external unit assignments
• Magnet-designated facility recognized as one of America's top hospitals by Healthgrades and awarded an 'A' Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade

Requirements:

• Active RN license in North Carolina or multistate compact license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in Emergency Department setting
• Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, or high-volume emergency department strongly preferred
• Current certifications required before submission: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and ENPC
• CPI certification required before start date
• Strong teamwork mentality with ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback
• Flexibility to work across all Emergency Department sections
• Commitment to AIDET principles and exceptional patient experience standards
