Greensboro, NC | 1st Shift

Pay: $27-32/hour

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in a manufacturing facility. This position will become the primary on-site maintenance resource, requiring strong electrical and mechanical skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facility systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs (Automation Direct), sensors, motors, and 480V electrical systems.

• Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical equipment.

• Repair conveyors, pumps, lift trucks, cranes, and other manufacturing equipment.

• Replace electrical components, motors, and machine parts as needed.

• Read blueprints and electrical schematics to diagnose issues.

• Fabricate simple replacement parts and machine guards when necessary.

• Complete maintenance documentation and maintain a safe, organized work area.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.

• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Experience with 480V electrical systems and 3-phase motors.

• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

• Comfortable working independently and managing maintenance priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding and cutting torch experience.

• HVAC maintenance knowledge.

• Fabrication experience.

• Experience with additional PLC platforms.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensboro, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00/hr.
