Dietary Aide - Part TimeWe are currently seeking a part time Dietary Aide to join our talented and caring team. Our ideal candidate will possess the ability to work in a diverse environment with focus on patient and customer service, building and maintaining positive working relationships with all hospital staff and demonstrating professional, effective communication skills. The preferred candidate will have a proven background of success in the healthcare industry in both service and kitchen environments.The Dietary Aide is responsible for:Transporting and serving meals to facility patients and staff.Washing dishes, trays and other cooking utensils.Performing general cleaning duties (sweeping, mopping, trash removal, cleaning of drink machines, cooking equipment, etc.) to maintain a safe and healthy kitchen and food service area as well as to remain in compliance with Health Department regulations.Assisting with the unloading of food delivery and storage in proper location.Individuals considered for this position must have a friendly and outgoing attitude, must be service-oriented and willing to go beyond the general expectations to please the customer and have a positive team approach to accomplishing tasks.Qualifications:Previous experience in Healthcare Dietary Services helpful, but not required.ServSafe Certification required, or willing to obtain within 90-days of employment.Background Check and Drug Screen required for employment.Must be at least 21 years of age.Must have active NC Driver's License free of major infractions.
