Job Overview and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Hematology Oncology Physician to become a vital member of our vibrant healthcare team in Seattle. This role involves joining a multi-specialty practice within a hospital setting that includes over 10 physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. You will collaborate with local and regional cancer care experts, all committed to enhancing quality, improving patient experiences, and advancing clinical standards for our community.

In this position, you will deliver compassionate and expert medical care daily. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, and working with a multidisciplinary team to support the overall well-being of patients and their families within our organization.

To excel in this role, you should be a board-certified and empathetic Hematology Oncologist, skilled in diagnosing and managing complex conditions, with strong communication skills.

• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to create tailored treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for patients with various hematology and oncology conditions.
• Guide and support patients and families regarding educational resources and community services.
• Work with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated care approach.
• Stay updated on research and best practices in Hematology and Oncology to deliver evidence-based care.
• Engage in community outreach and educational initiatives to raise awareness about cancer care and blood disorders.

Essential Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Hematology and Oncology.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience post-training.
• Active Washington State Medical License or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in treating hematology and oncology patients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

The salary range for this position is $530,576 - $677,281 per year.
