This role requires you to guide projects from initial concept through design, startup, and commissioning, while working closely with customers to provide practical and cost-effective solutions. You will specify necessary control components based on device specifications, generate a complete Bill of Materials (BOM), and produce detailed electrical schematics and layout diagrams for manufacturing. Collaborating with various departments, you will continuously enhance products and solutions, all while adhering to engineering standards relating to component manufacturers, documentation, and device coding.Your expertise will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and efficiency within our organization.What you need to be successfulTo excel as a Full-Time Automation Controls Engineer at All World Machinery Supply, candidates should possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent along with 1-2 years of relevant experience in the machinery or factory automation sectors. A strong commitment to continuous learning and staying current with evolving technologies is essential. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems utilized in the Machine Tool Industry.Proficiency in AC and DC circuitry is crucial, as well as experience in specifying and selecting electrical control components, including motor control, circuit protection, PLCs, sensors, and safety control devices. A solid command of CAD software for designing electrical schematics and documentation is required.
