Responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct and consultative OT services to students in alignment with IEPs and educational goals
• Conducting evaluations, assessments, and documentation to track progress and inform interventions
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to support student achievement
• Developing and implementing individual or group therapy sessions addressing sensory, fine motor, and adaptive skills
• Contributing OT expertise in team meetings, IEP development, and student support planning
• Traveling between sites if working with another nearby charter school

Key qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current State of Michigan OT licensure
• Prior experience providing occupational therapy in a school environment preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively
• Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs and educational settings
• Adept at documentation and utilization of digital record-keeping tools
