Senior Escrow Officer (PGP Title)

Overview Ensuring smooth and secure real estate closings for all involved in the transaction. PGP Title is where real estate closings meet precision, care, and teamwork. For over 20 years, our full-service title and settlement professionals have partnered with PulteGroup’s homebuilding and mortgage teams to deliver seamless, on‑time closings. This position is fully onsite/in‑office Monday - Friday in Coppell, Texas. Responsibilities Handle all aspects of the settlement transactions including preparation and approval of Settlement Statements, preparation and coordination of deeds, verification of loan documents, insurance documentation, seller statements, and contract or sales agreement. Obtain signatures for closing transactions, explain executed documents as needed, and facilitate communication between parties to the transaction. Follow Escrow Accounting Business Practice Guidelines, including the collection and disbursement of funds while complying with required State and Federal Good Funds statutes. Review escrow quality assurance reports and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure compliance with business policy. Ensure timely and accurate flow of information and documentation from the settlement team to Recording and Accounting departments. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff and serve as a mentor for branch employees. Manage a higher volume of closings than Escrow Officers, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in processing transactions. Ensure adherence to workflow processes and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Experience Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2‑5 years Escrow Officer experience. Licensing, Registration and Certifications Notary Public license requirements as required by State. Skills and Knowledge Customer service skills with experience engaging with diverse homebuyer demographics. Ability to multi‑task and handle fast‑paced and demanding work environment. Effective follow‑up skills and attention to detail. Ability to adjust well to change and collaborate effectively across dispersed teams. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Prioritization skills to meet department needs with available resources. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with OneNote and SoftPro is a plus. Demonstrated expertise and comprehensive understanding of title and escrow processes. Proactive initiative and self‑motivation to drive tasks and projects forward independently. Exceptional time management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines and optimize task workflows. Problem‑solving skills to resolve complex problems and execute complex transactions as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to exert minimal force of 25 pounds to carry, lift, push, pull and otherwise move objects. Occasionally may have to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
