Supervisory Human Resources Specialist

DutiesDirect human capital initiatives by partnering with Center executives and leaders to align workforce strategies, organizational priorities, and talent management with NASA and Johnson Space Center mission objectives.Supervise, develop, and evaluate subordinate employees; establish priorities and performance expectations; allocate resources; and foster a high-performing, customer-focused organization committed to continuous improvement.Monitor branch performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to maintain effective operations.Collaborate across OCHCO in support of the strategic plan, mission, vision. Ensure organizational values are communicated and integrated into functional area strategies, goals, objectives, and work; communicates milestones.Provide advice and guidance to senior level management on key HR program areas and topics such as organizational effectiveness, strategic planning, and implementation of HR policy/procedures that align to the Center's strategic priorities and goals.Perform a full range of supervisory duties which includes assigning and evaluating work; recommending personnel actions; taking disciplinary actions; and identifying training needs and developing employees.
