Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30 | Includes Weekends & Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to both adult and pediatric patient populations in a fast-paced ED environment
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, including identification of lethal cardiac rhythms
• Float to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered emergency care

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license required
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications – American Heart Association (AHA) only – required
• TNCC certification required
• Minimum two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three (3) years
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a Telemetry competency exam (adult and pediatric) prior to start; passing criteria are strict and must be met within allowable attempts
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation, including advanced arrhythmia recognition
• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
• Familiarity with high-acuity, high-volume emergency department environments
