Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during every procedure by clearly and compassionately explaining each step
• Work in partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality diagnostic images
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging equipment while promptly reporting malfunctions
• Thoroughly document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly desirable

Certifications Required

• Current ARDMS certification or similar credentials
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed
