Job Description (JD): SDET SME (Testim + Salesforce)

Drive end-to-end Salesforce test automation across multiple PODs using Testim, ensuring standardization, reusability, and scale

Own the monthly release regression—regression planning, execution governance, results sign-off inputs, and release readiness reporting

Test Script creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Testim automation suites (smoke/sanity/regression) for critical Salesforce business flows.

Ensure execution stability and quality across SIT/UAT cycles and coordinate readiness and sign-offs with client teams

Lead offshore QE automation team, including sprint-wise planning, task assignment, reviews, mentoring, and delivery accountability.

Drive defect governance: lead triage, align priority/severity with stakeholders, and ensure timely closure and retest completion

Act as the primary client coordination point for automation execution—provide regular status updates, highlight risks, and propose mitigation plans

Support sprint and release ceremonies (daily sync, checkpoints) and ensure automation outcomes are reflected in quality gates and release decisions.

Own production validation activities post-deployment (smoke checks/hypercare support) and ensure rapid stabilization for business continuity.

Continuously improve regression efficiency and coverage by identifying automation candidates, reducing flakiness, and optimizing execution cycles for faster releases

Must-Have

5–10 years (or equivalent) experience in Test Automation / SDET roles with leadership responsibility.

Strong hands-on experience with Testim automation tool (suite creation, maintenance, execution, reporting).

Strong Salesforce testing experience (end-to-end business flows; SIT/UAT/Regression cycles).

Experience leading teams and managing delivery across multiple workstreams/PODs.

Strong defect triage and stakeholder communication skills.

Good-to-Have

Salesforce technical awareness: Lightning UI concepts, objects/fields, workflows/flows, permissions, integrations (basic understanding)

CI/CD exposure (Jenkins/Azure DevOps) and automation execution integration.
