Davis-Standard is a global leader in the design, development and distribution of extrusion and converting technology. Our system encompasses over 14 product lines to support manufacturing applications and customers in a wide variety of industries, including automotive, building & construction, consumer products, medical and packaging. Job Purpose: Reporting to the Manager of Inside Sales Representatives the role will function as a liaison between Davis Standard Internal Departments, its current customers, and potential new customers as well as Outside Sales representatives. To manage and grow profitable sales for the assigned business territory (primarily, but not limited to, transactional accounts) by retaining existing business and by uncovering new opportunities to include Davis- Standard products in a customer's finished goods. To make a positive contribution, enabling Davis Standard to continue to grow and operate in an effective, efficient, and profitable manner. To work with outside vendors to obtain quotes of products and processes in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls and respond to customer inquiries for spare parts quickly and efficiently
• Answer phone calls and emails in a professional manner
• Accurately confirm replacement parts to meet specifications
• Build rapport with customers
• Collect customer information for future follow-ups
• Upsell services and make product recommendations
• Close sales and meet and exceed company quotas
• Enter quotes and orders into Appropriate ERP system
• Identify sales opportunities
• Support order picking and shipping as required
• Staying informed about product and service information updates

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma is required; College Diploma in Business Administration and or equivalent is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years Inside sales experience
• Energetic, self-motivated, client focused is a must
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
• Working knowledge of MS Office suite of products
• Self disciplined with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
• Strong prospecting, negotiating and closing skills
• Strong communication skills - English verbal and written is required
• People oriented and experienced in rapport building
• Ability to sell and promote additional offerings to customers
• Working knowledge of various technology and software programs
• Ability to be flexible with work hours to meet occasional customer urgent requests
• Ability to potentially travel up to 10% of the time
• Previous experience with ERP systems is an asset
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce a Plus
