Intermittent Visits (RN)

Job Overview Intermittent Visits – Registered Nurse Responsibilities Treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents according to the active plan of care given by the physician and other appropriate personnel. Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies. Documents all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care. Educates the patient and family regarding the disease process, self‑care techniques, and prevention strategies to meet the patient’s nursing needs. Administers wound care and wound vac placement. Provides disease process education. Performs patient assessments. Provides feeding tube management and education. Administers and manages medication. Provides central line management, lab draws, and education. Practices safe delivery of physician‑ordered care to patients in a home environment. Qualifications Active Arizona (or compact state) Registered Nurse license in good standing. PICC/Central line experience highly preferred. CPR certification for healthcare providers.
