Interventional Spine Physician

Interventional Anesthesia Spine Physician – Binghamton, NY United Health Services Hospitals (UHS) is seeking an attending interventional spine physician to expand our non‑operative spine care services. The role requires a board‑certified or board‑eligible anesthesiologist with fellowship training in pain medicine, and experience with fluoroscopy‑guided spine injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, and other advanced interventional techniques. Location Binghamton, NY (outreach clinics in Norwich and Walton). The position is mainly based in Binghamton with procedures performed in a hospital-sponsored ambulatory surgery center adjacent to the clinic. Responsibilities Perform a full range of non‑operative/interventional spine care procedures including fluoroscopy‑guided spine injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, and other advanced techniques. Provide patient care in a multi‑disciplinary team environment with advanced practice providers, physical therapists, neurosurgeons, and chiropractic staff. Participate in clinical teaching of residents and medical students from SUNY Upstate Medical University. Engage in clinical research and contribute to evidence‑based spine care. Qualifications Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Anesthesia, with residency training in Anesthesia. Fellowship training in Pain Medicine or equivalent experience. Proficient experience in fluoroscopy‑guided spine injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation and related procedures. Strong procedural competency in an ambulatory surgical setting. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Compensation & Benefits Competitive starting salary range: $470,000 – $595,000.
