Job Position: Welder/Fabricator
Location: Lumberton, NC 28358 Pay Rate: $18.00/hr Shift: Description: We are seeking an experienced and dependable Welder to join our team in Lumberton, NC. The Welder will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication work according to specifications while maintaining high-quality and safety standards. Responsibilities- Perform MIG, TIG, or stick welding as required.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
- Set up and operate welding equipment and tools.
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and accuracy.
- Grind, clean, and finish welded surfaces as needed.
- Identify and correct welding defects or inconsistencies.
- Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
