The hospital is part of the Montefiore Health System, a premier academic health system serving more than 3 million people living in the New York City region and Hudson Valley.We have a fantastic opportunity for Per-Diem Exercise Physiologists to join our Cardiac Rehab team.Position Summary:Perform accurate assessments for patients with cardiovascular disease including exercise prescriptions, EKG telemetry interpretations, patient education and safe exercise floor supervision.Job Duties Include:Assess patients' fitness and healthDesign exercise programs to meet patient goals by increasing their cardiovascular fitnessMaintain daily quality control for all Cardiac Rehab equipmentPrepare medical necessity reportsEducation and Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science / Physiology required. Masters Degree preferred.BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required and ultimate complete of ACLS certificationACSM Certification a plusPrior experience in a similar role, new graduates will be consideredExcellent communication skills.We offer an excellent salary, benefits through 1199 and free parking!
