Human Resources Coordinator

Key Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions Establishes and maintains open communication with all associates, and fosters positive associate relations. Staffing administrator for the Ross companies including screening candidates, scheduling interviews, coordinating pre‑hire activities, extending offers, processing new hires in the HRIS system, and preparing onboarding materials. Administers the wellness program (e.g., challenges and events, Ross Health newsletter and HRIS content, wellness updates, tracking of participation, vendor programs, health fair assistance, heart walk, etc.). Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the role. Assists and provides support for HR team members as needed. Contributes to the completion of departmental initiatives, assisting team members as required. Assists with administrative, clerical, and project work as assigned. Uses advanced PC and business computer applications, telephone conferencing, and e‑mail on a daily basis. Understands RES’ ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) and assists with executing its objectives. Performs other job‑related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). UltiPro software experience is a plus. Position requires exercise of discretion. Ability to research and analyze various types of information. Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve issues, using judgment consistent with standards, practices, procedures, regulations, or government law. Strong work ethic and commitment to quality, with extremely high personal and team performance standards. Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal, and presentation skills; able to communicate and present information and respond to questions from associates, customers, suppliers, or lenders.
