Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$2203.20/week -

Job Summary:

Provides specialized nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room setting, ensuring timely and effective treatment. Collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver quality patient outcomes and manages emergency situations with expertise.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival to ensure prompt care.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond quickly to changes in condition.
  
  
• 
  Document clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
  
  
• 
  Coordinate with healthcare team members to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge instructions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid New York State RN license.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent ER RN experience, preferably including travel assignments.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate ability to handle high-pressure emergency situations efficiently.
  
  
• 
  Show proven flexibility with scheduling, including availability for 48-hour shifts.
  
  
• 
  Have a minimum of 2 years in the nursing field with recent relevant experience.
