Responsible for cleaning dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment. Supports kitchen staff to ensure smooth food service operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, glassware, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Properly store clean dishes and kitchen equipment.
- Remove trash and recycling and keep waste areas clean.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and stocking duties.
- Report broken equipment or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
