Machine Operator 1
Produce welded pipe, cut blanks, and produce small components utilizing laser welders & front-end machines
Major Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery according to established guidelines and safety protocols
- Operate FlexiStar, 400, 1000, Gary Line, Mecon, Flat Laser, Plasma, Novatec & Re-shear, small rotary
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to team lead and supervisors
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery
- Complete schedule for day and note any down time or other issues preventing you from completing schedule.
- Check material for any defects. Let supervisor and quality department know when defects are found
- Know how to accurately read and use a tape measure to 1/32".
- Fill out work order paperwork
- Maintain a clean workstation and production floor.
- Be punctual and maintain good attendance.
Skills & Experience:
- Entry level position
- Attention to detail
- Accurately read and use a tape measure to 1/32".
- Accurately read pie tape.
- Accurately use a micrometer
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
