Travel RN - TelemetryAmerican TravelerSalem, Massachusetts, United StatesPosition status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: NightsLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1$2,299.00/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool RN for a night shift, every-other-weekend role requiring active MA RN licensure and prior travel nursing experience.DetailsFloat pool position covering 8 Med/Surg Telemetry units throughout the hospital, including Davenport 5, 7, 8, 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, and OverflowCare for ED boarder patients, serve as medication nurse in the acute mental health unit, and care for non-vented, transfer-ready ICU patientsClinician to patient ratios up to 5:1 on days/evenings and up to 6:1 on nightsUnits range from 8 to 41 beds within a 371-bed hospitalNight shift schedule (19:00-07:30) with every other weekend requiredSome rotation to days/evenings required, with 1 to 3 rotations to nights per contractUses EPIC EMR for charting36 or 48 hour weekly schedule options availableRequirementsActive Massachusetts RN license required (no conditional licenses accepted)AHA BLS and ACLS certification required2 years of acute care hospital experience in one location required2 years of experience working as a travel nurse requiredTelemetry monitoring experience required, including interpreting strips every 4 hoursTR Band experience requiredMust be able to perform cardiac drips and read tele stripsFlu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowedAdditional InformationProvide cardiac monitoring, manage cardiac drips, and interpret telemetry strips as part of daily patient careFree on-site parking availableLocal candidates accepted; those residing within 60 miles of the facility will receive a reduced rateFirst-time travelers will not be considered given the experience requirementsHours per week: 36Hours per shift: 12
