Survey Technician

Survey TechnicianWestwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Survey Technician to join our team. This position will assist Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal description, and computing survey points.Assisting Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparation, legal description, and computing survey pointsProcessing of raw field data through Trimble Business Center and Civil 3DPerform QA/QC checksCoordinate and work with field crews and other office staffEnsures division, regional, and company values, policies and practices are consistently followed within the survey service.Lead by example – display solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism.Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skills.Knowledge of ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, preparation of easement documents, legal descriptions, final plat preparation, construction stakingAbility to operate AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center for production activities.Ability to manage multiple tasks, support project coordination, and interact with other design services.Full use of Microsoft Office.Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment that is in a growth mode.At Westwood, our purpose is to create a better world for people through our work.
