Requirements

• Required certification: Tele
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Med/Surg, MS/Tele, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry monitoring, bowel obstruction, colostomy/ileostomy care, feeding tube management, hemodialysis, renal failure, blood product administration, central line procedures, IV management, chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP, oxygen administration, wound care 3. Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred; must pass EKG testing prior to start 4. License: NC or Compact license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Night shift 1845-0715, 36 or 48 hours, no call required, every other weekend required 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays), must work 2 of 3 major holidays, no RTO during first week, all RTO must be pre-approved, cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed at submission 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Required, non-billable, expect 2-10 hours 13. Travel Experience: Unit accepts first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Navy blue or white 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16.
