About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for GIK Fulfillment and Logistics to lead the strategic and operational aspects of its end-to-end supply chain. This executive will be responsible for the seamless movement of donated goods, from receipt to final delivery, ensuring operational excellence across the company's warehouse network and transportation activities. The role involves setting and executing the supply chain vision, managing the operating budget, and driving continuous improvement in all areas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years' experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations, with a strong background in both warehousing and transportation functions. Experience in technology modernization, including WMS and TMS implementations, and a proven track record in managing 3PL relationships and a mixed carrier portfolio is essential. A background in nonprofit operations or mission-driven organizations is strongly preferred. Candidates for the Senior Vice President position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree and professional certification being a plus. The role requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to represent the supply chain operations to various stakeholders, and a deep commitment to the values of the organization. The successful candidate will be adept at building and managing supply chain budgets, interpreting operational data, and leading technology change. They must also demonstrate a strong mission orientation and a commitment to the values of accountability, equity, and stewardship. The position involves regular travel and the availability for off-hours communication during critical operational situations.
