Sag Harbor Tavern, the sister restaurant to Red Hook Tavern, brings classic American tavern fare to the waterfront village of Sag Harbor. Built on the same foundation of thoughtful cooking and genuine hospitality, the restaurant is driven by a team that takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and high-functioning kitchen.

We're looking for a dishwasher to join the team. This role is essential to the success of the kitchen, supporting both back and front of house while helping maintain the pace and cleanliness required for service.

The Role You'll be responsible for keeping the kitchen running smoothly behind the scenes, ensuring all equipment, dishware, and workspaces are clean, organized, and ready for service.

What You'll Do Wash all dishes, glassware, and cooking equipment in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, prep areas, and equipment Assist in cleaning and resetting stations to support service Support front of house cleaning needs as needed, including shared spaces Complete opening and closing duties and follow all cleaning protocols Assist with weekly deep cleaning tasks Ensure compliance with health department standards and safety procedures Support the kitchen team with general tasks as needed

What We're Looking For Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to work both independently and as part of a team Clear communication with kitchen, management, and front of house Strong sense of responsibility and attention to cleanliness Experience in a similar role or with commercial dishwashers preferred Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 50 lbs Ability to move throughout the space, including stairs, during shifts

Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $20.00)
