Online Special Education Substitute Teacher JobID: 427 Position Type: Online Positions (IHLA)/ Substitute Teacher Date Posted: 9/3/2024 Location: (Online) Idaho Home Learning Academy K-12 Closing Date: 12/30/2024 Responsibilities Create an encouraging learning environment for students while their regular teacher is absent, the substitute teacher will need to effectively manage and instruct the online class. Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to create a cohesive and consistent online learning experience for students. Manage the online classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment. Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student. Keep data on student performance while substituting. Submit substitute hours to supervisor for payment. For long‑term substitutes: develop lesson plans, assessments and assignments consistent with the regular teacher's past lesson plans. #J-18808-Ljbffr
