PROGRAM ANALYST

Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PSNS and IMF. Responsibilities You will employ investigative and analytical techniques to gather process performance data needed to evaluate the various departmental programs. You will evaluate Quality Performance System (QPS) data, Deficiency reports, Discrepancy Logs, Audit Action records, Rework Reports, and other Inspection Verification Reports in support of process improvement programs. You will plan, schedule, and conduct studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations and program effectiveness. You will make recommendations on appropriate actions to resolve instances of program noncompliance and reverse adverse trends. You will coordinate continuous process improvement initiatives as assigned, and coordinates department level audit responses. You will enter data into an organized record keeping/data base system. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing program performance data to investigate trends and non-compliance issues and recommend changes or improvements to facilitate compliance with department programs.
