At Hershey, we are committed to making a meaningful difference in the communities where we live, work, and do business. * How will you fit in the big picture? * Reporting to the Manager of Controls & Security Tech Solutions, the Senior Controls Engineer leads the development and execution of medium to high complexity capital projects. * Accountabilities* * What will you do? * - Lead the design, selection, installation, and commissioning of control systems and automated equipment - Develop and assess control systems for manufacturing environments - Manage small capital projects including scope, cost, and schedule - Ensure compliance with industrial control network and cybersecurity standards - Support startup, optimization, and troubleshooting - Partner cross-functionally across engineering, operations, and vendors - Train manufacturing and maintenance teams * Minimum Requirements * Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field * Additional Qualifications * - PLC/PAC programming (Rockwell, Siemens) - HMI/SCADA (FactoryTalk, Ignition) - Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems - Strong problem-solving and communication skills - Ability to travel (~30%+) * Benefits and Perks * - Medical, dental, and vision coverage - 401(k) with company match - Paid time off and holidays - Career development opportunities * Minimum Education & Requirements* 3+ years The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
