You will:Lead, coach, and develop a highly-skilled group of technical professionalsSet priorities, delegate workload, and help the team deliver work accurately and on timeCultivate a collaborative environment built on trust, respect, and accountabilityConduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance discussions, and development planning conversationsLead vendor relationships that support automation systems, infrastructure, and external service providersPartner with Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, Engineering, and IT teams to resolve issues and improve system performanceLead projects that improve reliability, efficiency, and operational performanceSupport validation activities including design reviews, testing, and implementation of automation changesSupervise GxP-regulated software and automation systems, including change control, investigations, and corrective actionsParticipate in an on-call rotation approximately every fourth week and remain available to support critical business needsProvide technical and automation support for manufacturing operations and business-critical systemsBe responsible for periodic evaluations of automated systems used in commercial manufacturingDevelop an understanding of the site's automation landscape, including more than 400 servers and 22 manufacturing unit operationsThis role requires:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered5+ years of experience supporting automation, controls, manufacturing systems, or related technologies3+ years of people leadership experience, including management of teams of eight or more employeesAt least one year of direct, hands-on experience designing, installing, maintaining, or troubleshooting automated control systemsExperience leading technical projects from planning through implementationStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience working within regulated environments with quality and compliance requirementsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, GxP-regulated manufacturing, nuclear, naval, or similarly structured technical environmentsKnowledge of software change control, deviation investigations, CAPA, and automation quality systemsLeadership style that values collaboration, open communication, and employee developmentDoes this sound like you?
