About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Impact Officer to lead its flagship civic platform and drive the collective impact of its various partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and refining the strategic direction of the civic leadership center, ensuring it aligns with the company's strategic framework and the needs of the region. This role demands a leader who can anticipate and address emerging civic, economic, and social issues, and who is adept at translating strategy into measurable outcomes. The Chief Impact Officer will also provide executive leadership for signature initiatives, set standards for impact measurement, and engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including donors, to attract philanthropic support. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' senior leadership experience in civic, nonprofit, philanthropic, public-sector, or similar cross-sector environments, with a proven track record of producing measurable community impact. A deep understanding of community foundations, philanthropy, and the role of civic institutions in regional change is essential, as is fluency in issues such as economic mobility, education, neighborhood revitalization, and civic engagement. The role requires a candidate with strong financial and operational acumen, the ability to lead a lean team, and a commitment to equity and inclusion. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree, and the candidate should be prepared to serve as a leading external voice and trusted broker in the community.
